Omer Roy Fullerton Jr.

SALTILLO - Omer Roy Fullerton, Jr., 74, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born July 11, 1951, in Carroll, Illinois, the son of Omer Roy Fullerton, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Stone.

Omer worked as a security guard for Sansone Security Group for many years. After retiring, he spent most of his time outdoors and with his dogs. He was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He was happiest just sitting in his favorite chair with a cup of coffee and a blanket, watching classic westerns.

He is survived by his son, Patrick Fullerton of Saltillo; his step-sons, Ray Wooten of Vancleave and Christopher Wooten (Ashley) of Booneville; and Connie Carter of Fulton, the mother of his children. He also leaves behind his granddaughters, Kinslee Fullerton of Caledonia and Cameryn Fullerton of Tupelo, as well as his step-grandchildren: Emily Wooten, Jaxxon Wooten, Hailey Eaton, and Eli Burcham.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Omer and Margaret Fullerton, and two sisters, Joann and Martie Fullerton.

At the request of the family, a private visitation was held and no further services are scheduled.
