Xahara Sneed

It is with deepest sympathy that we announce the passing of Xahara Faye Sneed, who left us on October 24, 2025, at the tender age of two. Xahara was born on October 20, 2023, to Sam and Fredritta Sneed of Shannon, MS. During her brief time, she brought immense joy and love to her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Xahara was always smiling and loved anything and everything bubbles. She was fearless and would never back down from a fight. She loved food, especially blueberries, and most of all enjoyed playing outside. Xahara was a very intelligent child, who at 2 years old was already beginning to read. Her favorite shows to watch were Blue's Clues and Ms. Rachel.

A service celebrating Xahara's beautiful life will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Mt. Vernon Chapel with Pat Sneed officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Mt. Vernon Chapel 1716 McCullough Blvd. Tupelo, MS 38801.

Xahara is survived by her loving parents, Sam and Fredritta Ezell Sneed, brothers, Xavier Thomas Sneed and Tyrone Jayden Lewis and Sister, Tyffani Jaylen-Michelle Lewis all of Shannon, MS; Grandparents, Tom and Sandy Culver Sneed of Pontotoc, MS and Fred and Jacqueline Fisher Ezell of Red Oak, TX; Aunt, Shanika Ezell (Olivia) of Red Oak, TX; Uncles, Fred Ezell III (Yuzuki) of Okinawa, Japan, Tyler Sneed (Courtney) of Hanceville, AL and Pete Sneed of Starkville, MS; Great-Grandmothers, Corrine Culver of Tupelo, MS and Carolyn Ezell of Irvington, AL; Great-Aunts, Teresa Ellis (Les) and Donna Culver of Tupelo, MS, Connie Sheffield of Pontotoc, MS, Dot Reedy (Stanley) of Jackson, MS, Pamela Fisher, Alicia Carter, Shanika Fisher, Marilyn Hughes, Barbara Stevens, Donna Hunt, Tamika Ezell and Rosalyne Hull; Great-Uncles, Pat Sneed (Tina) of Hoover, AL, Stan Ezell and Bradley Ezell; and a host of numerous cousins, extended family members and friends.
